hey hey! so i'm in my last year of school (finally!) and for my advanced photo classes we're pretty much just putting together our portfolios. in addition to that we also have to pick a mentor who has a similar style of photography as our own and who can inspire us, and from there we have to emulate our work after theirs (don't get me started on the contradiction of building our own portfolio and having to emulate someone else's work >__< ). anyways, i chose jerry uelsmann, who if you don't know, is a master printer. he's done all of his work in the darkroom, and if you look him up, then let me say it again: yes, all of his work is done in the darkroom
he's just that good lol. but all of his work has a dream like quality to it, so there for you will be seeing a lot more of the dream project!
if any one has any interesting ideas for me i'd be cool with you sharing
thanks again! enjoy
